WINTERSET – American State Bank announced that it has opened a new branch office in Winterset on Monday, July 14. The new facility is located at 809 N. John Wayne Drive.
“American State Bank of Winterset continues our tradition of operating as a full-service community bank with a complete line of consumer and commercial/agricultural banking products as well as investment and financial advisor products through our American State Financial Center,” said Kevin W. Klemesrud, president and chief executive officer of American State Bank. “In addition, we look forward to continuing to partner with the Winterset community through financial support such as our sponsoring of the Financial Literacy program in the Winterset High School and the volunteer efforts of our American State Bank employees.”
American State Bank’s Winterset office is designed in a modern, customer-friendly setting with approximately 4,100 square feet of main floor space and an attached drive thru window. The bank offers an internet kiosk, children’s entertainment center and comfortable waiting area. The basement is finished offering a place for training and customer seminars.
The Winterset branch employs 10 employees with Dan Nielsen leading as the market president.
“The employees have been waiting for this move for some time. With our growth since opening our Winterset location in July of 2011, our existing facility has become cramped and the staff is looking forward to moving to the new location in order to better serve our customers,” Nielsen said.
