The Clarke golf teams fell at Creston/Orient-Macksburg on Friday, with the girls losing 209-286 and the boys falling 160-204 to the defending Class 3A state champions.
Jordyn Wright led the Clarke girls with a round of 56, while Sam Stickels shot 57. Ann Taylor recorded a round of 79 and Alexxa Blair shot a 94.
Creston/O-M sophomore Madison Hance won medalist honors with her round of 51.
On the boys side, Clarke faced a tough challenge in going up against the defending Class 3A state champion Panthers.
Defending individual state champion Carson Whittington posted a score of 37 to win medalist honors.
Clarke was led by Seth Audlehelm's score of 42. Cody Kjellsen shot a 50, while Garrett Nelson and Reed Kale rounded out the team scoring with scores of 56.

vs. Mount Ayr
The Clarke golf teams bounced back to post home wins over Mount Ayr on Monday.
The Clarke girls posted a team score of 252. Mount Ayr did not have enough golfers for a girls team score.
Courtney Clark finished as runner-up for the Lady Indians, shooting a round of 57. Mount Ayr's Tessa Shields won medalist honors by shooting a 49.
Jordyn Wright added a round of 59 for the Lady Indians, while Samantha Stickels shot a 65. Alex Stone rounded out the team scoring with her round of 71.
On the boys side, Clarke scored a 178-195 win over the Raiders.
Seth Audlehelm won medalist honors with his round of 38, ahead of runner-up Quency Vos of Mount Ayr, who shot a 43.
Garrett Nelson carded a round of 45, followed by Reed Kale's 47 and Gable Reece's 48 to round out the team scoring.

Knoxville won the competition with a team score of 236, while Clarke finished with a score of 259. Oskaloosa did not record a team score.
Courtney Clark and Jordyn Wright both posted rounds of 54 to lead Clarke and tie for runner-up honors. Samantha Stickels finished with a 69 and Ann Taylor recorded a round of 82 for the Lady Indians.
