School board approves Antisdel's resignation

Clarke Community School Board approved Clarke Community High School Principal Kim Antisdel’s resignation during a board of education special meeting Sunday, April 6.

Antisdel’s resignation letter states, “It is with mixed feelings that I submit this letter of resignation from my position as the ninth-12th principal effective June 30, 2014.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to help lead the high school these past five years. Your trust and support has helped to improve test scores, the graduation rate and allows our students to experience technology in the 21st century.

I have applied for my retirement benefits from IPERS and will be looking to venture into new areas. I wish the community, students, staff and the board of education nothing but the best as you continue your work.”
