Clarke students involved in FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America) and other high-school leadership organizations will be hosting a community wide food drive 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23.from
Groups of students will be traveling around the community going door-to-door to ask for donations.
Clarke Food Pantry is currently in need of all nonperishable food items, specifically canned soup. They are also in need of personal care items such as toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant and shower items.
If you will not be home Nov. 23 and would still like to donate, bring your items to one of the following locations: Clarke County State Bank on Main Street in Osceola, Great Western Bank, Clarke Elementary School office or Clarke High School office.
Donation boxes will be available at the locations from Monday, Nov. 18, to Friday, Nov. 22.
