This school year is Clarke Middle School’s first year participating in The Leader in Me. The Leader in Me leadership learning is based on Dr. Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” with the goal of turning students into leaders who are effective, confident and empathetic.
Middle-school staff want to help their students live their lives while using the seven habits.
The school’s “Leaders of the Month” program will continue monthly throughout the academic year. Each middle-school teacher will select one middle-school student who has demonstrated living the “7 Habits” daily.
