Mark Edward Bender, 45, of Ankeny was charged with harassment 8:30 p.m. July 28. The date of the offense was Feb. 14.
Bender was arraigned and pled guilty to the charge of harassment. He was served a no-contact order, paid a fine and was released from Clarke County Jail.

Edna Maxine McConnell of Murray reported two solar lights, a stone bird sculpture, rock sculpture and small rock sculpture were taken from Murray cemetery between July 22 and 27. The items were attached to the headstone of McConnell’s late husband.
The incident is being investigated by Clarke County Sheriff’s Office.
Loss estimate is $93.

Austan Jacob Carl Schut, 20, of Otley was charged with a warrant for driving under suspension 11:15 a.m. July 30. The date of the offense was March 14.

Curtis Francis Cowling, 28, of Garden Grove was charged with a warrant for failure to pay child support 1:58 p.m. Aug. 7. The date of the offense was May 29.
As of Aug. 8, Cowling is being held in Clarke County Jail.
