Central Decatur 50, Martensdale-St Marys 42
MARTENSDALE – Central Decatur (13-6) squeaked out a 50-42 win over Martensdale-St Marys (8-13) Friday.
The Cardinals led 28-21 after the first half. Martensdale got back into the game with an 11-5 third quarter, but Central Decatur held on with a 17-10 fourth quarter.

Centerville 56, Clarke 28
Clarke (5-11) fell in a 56-29 loss to Centerville (15-1) Friday.
Centerville held Clarke to two points in the first quarter, while scoring 16 to take a big lead. The Lady Indians responded with 12 points in the second quarter, but 14 points in the second half wasn’t enough to keep up with the Big Reds.
Tory Henry scored 11 points for a team-high. She also grabbed five rebounds with four steals. Kaitlyn Halsband scored eight points with eight rebounds.
Central Decatur 59, Wayne 46
LEON – Central Decatur scored a 59-46 win over Pride of Iowa opponent Wayne (13-7) Tuesday.
Holding a three-point lead after eight minutes, Central Decatur put up 17 points in the second quarter for a 33-21 lead at halftime. A near even scoring second half gave the Cardinals the win.
