March 19, 2026 accident reports

Minor damages were reported following an accident March 1 at 2400 College Drive.

According to an Osceola Police report, Stephanie Sandquist, of Osceola, was backing out of a parking stall in a 2022 Kia Telluride at the same time Maria Perez Acosta, of Osceola, was backing out of a parking stall in a 2011 Toyota Sienna, and the two collided.

Damages are estimated at $150 and minor to the Kia and $1,500 and minor to the Toyota.

Minor damages were reported following a multi-car accident March 6 on Highway 69 North.

According to an Osceola Police report, Nicholas Moomey, of Osceola, was traveling south on Highway 69/Main Street in a 1996 Buick LeSabre when a vehicle turned west in front of him. This caused Moomey to go off the roadway, where he struck a legally parked 2020 Buick, causing that vehicle to slide and hit a legally parked 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Damages are estimated at $3,5000 to the 1996 Buick, $5,000 to the 2020 Buick and $3,500 to the Chevrolet.

No citations were issued following a two-vehicle accident March 6 on Highway 69 North.

According to an Osceola Police report, Priya Robinson, of Osceola, was stopped at the intersection of Highways 34 and 69 in a 2016 Honda Accord. Robinson had a red light and intended to turn right, looked, and did not see anything so proceeded to turn onto Highway 34. At the same time, a 2007 Ford Fusion driven by Wilson Gonzalez Hernandez was traveling west on Highway 34 through the intersection and was unable to stop before hitting Robinson.

Damages are estimated at $3,000 and minor to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported following an accident March 7 on North Fillmore Street.

According to an Osceola Police report, Lillian Walsh, of Osceola, was stopped facing north on Fillmore Street at the West Clay Street intersection in a 2014 Ford Focus. While stopped, Walsh observed a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Carol Braddock of New Virginia making a left-hand turn south onto Fillmore Street. As Braddock made the turn, the side ear collided with the driver’s side front of Walsh’s vehicle.

Damages are estimated at $3,500 and disabling to the Ford and $1,500 and minor to the Chevrolet.
