Jeffrey Weller

St. Charles

Jeffrey Lee Weller, son of Jack L. Weller and Doris A. (Walker) Weller was born April 9, 1960, in Tacoma, Washington, and passed from this life, suddenly, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at his home near St. Charles, Iowa at 61 years of age.

Jeff’s family moved to the St. Charles area when Jeff was very young. He graduated from I-35 high School with the Class of 1978. Following graduation, Jeff worked for the railroad for about ten years, he then worked different jobs before going to work for the U.S. Postal Service in 1997, operating a tractor trailer transporting mail. Jeff was united in marriage to Vicki Ann MacDonald on January 26, 1990, in Truro, Iowa.

Jeff and Vicki made their home on their farm, south of St. Charles. Jeff learned to farm and drive a tractor at a very young age from his Grandpa, and he passed his love for tractors down to his children and grandchildren as well. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, and 4 wheelers, and spending time with family and friends. He was a well rounded mechanic and a fixer of all things. There wasn’t anything with an engine that he couldn’t make run, and he enjoyed passing that knowledge on to his children as well. Jeff loved his grandchildren dearly and spoiling them was one of his favorite things. He was also known to be a little ornery at times, with a wild side that made him one of a kind. Jeff enjoyed life and loved his family.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Doris Weller.

Jeff leaves to cherish his memory; loving wife, Vicki Weller of Saint Charles, IA, two sons, Cody (Bridget) Chandler of Osceola, IA, Clint (Lacey) Chandler of Truro, IA, two daughters, Lindsie (Adam) Hutton of Truro, IA,  Sarah (Tommy) Jondall of Norwalk, IA, 13 grandchildren, Blake, Hailey, Aaron, Reece, Ezabell, Hannah, Amelia, Noah, Payton, Liberty, Hadlee, Bryker, and Brooks, sister, Darcy (Jerry) Hutchison of Truro, IA, as well as other relatives and many friends.
