Admission to all sectional and district tournaments are $6 per spectator.

Clarke and Central Decatur’s postseason assignment will be at Winterset, in Class 2A Sectional 6.

Along with the Indians in the sectional will be Atlantic, Chariton, Panorama and Winterset.

First and second-place winners in each weight class from these two sectionals will advance to the district tournament at Creston, District 3.

Atwood on full scholarship

Central Decatur alumni Emma Atwood was given a full scholarship by Northwest Missouri State University Tuesday afternoon.

The announcement was made by NWMSU’s women’s basketball Twitter account, where a video was posted of Atwood reading a paper aloud to her team informing her of the accomplishment.

The 2019 South Central Iowa Female Athlete of The Year has scored 14 points across two games this season. She has 12 rebounds, two blocks and two assists this season as well. She missed all of last season due to a knee injury that required surgery, leading her to redshirt her freshman season.
