Zachary Thomas Orive Mathes, 28, of East Washington Street Osceola, was charged with fourth-degree theft 4:50 p.m. Nov. 3 at 301 E. Washington St.

Corey Scott Hites, 46, of North Adams Street Osceola, was charged with driving under suspension 5:41 a.m. Nov. 5 at the Osceola Police Department.

Bond was set at $300.

Michelle Lee Cox, 45, of East 3rd Street Van Wert, was charged with trespass 3 p.m. Nov. 5 at 2400 College Dr.

According to a Osceola Police report, Walmart reported that Michelle Cox was on their property. They stated that she has been served a trespass order. Officers spoke with Michelle and she admitted that she was served a trespass order earlier this year. Michelle stated that she had Covid-19. An Officer was able to confirm that she was positive for Covid-19 and cited her into court for trespass.

Jamie Roy Thomas, 46, of PO Box 563 Pella, was charged with trespass and fifth-degree theft 5:17 p.m. Nov. 5 at 2400 College Dr.

According to an Osceola Police report, Thomas was at Walmart in Osceola and Asset Protection saw him put on a black jacket and have donuts in his hand. Thomas was eating the donuts and walked out of the store with the jacket on. Thomas did not pay for these items. Thomas was stopped by Asset Protection. Thomas went with Asset Protection and he admitted that he walked out with the jacket. He said that he intended on paying for the coat and food but he forgot. Asset Protection also advised me that Thomas has been served a trespass order before. They had a copy of the old order and also had Thomas sign a new order. Thomas admitted that he knew he was served this order but said he didn’t know it meant for this Walmart. Thomas was arrested for theft and for trespass.

Angel Lewis, of Osceola, reported theft from vehicle 11:16 a.m. Nov. 5 at 318 S. Jackson St.
