LEON – Southwest Valley (12-10) took down Central Decatur (4-17) 3-0 in the first round of the Pride of Iowa tournament Monday.
The Timberwolves took the sets 25-18, 25-21 and 25-21.

Murray 3, Bedford 1
MURRAY – Murray (13-7) won its final regular-season match of the year 3-1 over Bedford (7-12) Tuesday.
The Lady Mustangs won the first two sets 25-19 and 26-24. Bedford won the third set 25-23 before Murray ended things with a 25-14 win.
Teryn Shields had 11 kills. Jayda Chew finished with 24 assists. Kinzee Eggers had six blocks.
Clarke 3, Chariton 0
OSCEOLA – Clarke (5-14) took a 3-0 win over Chariton (4-16) Tuesday, Oct. 6.
The Lady Indians won 25-17, 25-23 and 25-22.
Ali Henry had nine assists and Emma Bolton had seven assists. Kiaya Dunbar and Tory Henry each had seven digs.

Deactur 2, Moravia 1
LEON – Central Decatur knocked off Moravia (5-12) 2-1 at the Cardinals’ home triangular Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Central Deactur won 25-17, 25-14 and 15-12.
River Hamaker had five kills for a team-high. Mara Dykes had 11 assists. Lyndsey Dale was 16-for-16 from serve with one ace.
Grand View Christian 2, Central
Decatur 0
LEON – Central Decatur fell to Grand View Christian (16-15) 2-0 at the Cardinals’ home triangular Tuesday, Oct. 6.
The Cardinals fell in two sets, 25-18 and 25-21.
Dykes had six assists. Carlee Hamilton had 11 digs, and Malloree Horn was 9-for-9 from serve with three aces.
