The Iowa Department of Public Safety and the Iowa Peace Officer Memorial Committee are hosting a design contest for an Iowa Law Enforcement K9 Memorial. The K9 Memorial is to be located on the State Capitol Grounds near the current Peace Officer Memorial.
The Iowa Law Enforcement K9 Memorial will recognize those K9’s that were killed or died in the line of duty, along with representing the dedication and commitment of all K9’s that have served in Iowa law enforcement, their departments and communities that support their local K9 programs.

All submissions must be received no later than 4:00 pm on February 1, 2019.
