• The Clarke boys golf team finished ninth out of 18 teams at The Preserve on April 25 in the Mohawk Invitational.

Seth Audlehelm led the Indians with a round of 81, followed by Mitch Lampe with an 86.

Reed Kale contributed a score of 93 and Gable Reece shot a 95. Garrett Nelson carded a round of 96 and Caleb Grimm shot a 116.

Audlehelm recorded a hole-in-one on the ninth-hole using a 9 iron.

• The Clarke boys golf team finished second at Woodland Hills on Friday, taking on Saydel, North Polk and Van Meter.

Clarke shot a team score of 182, while North Polk won with a 171.

Audlehelm won medalist honors with a 38.

• Central Decatur's Kate Havens won the individual championship at the Pride of Iowa Conference meet Monday at Mount Ayr Golf and Country Club. Havens shot a round of 84.

The Central Decatur girls finished second to Pleasantville in the team standings, 374-385. Sadie Greene finished seventh individually for the Cardinals and Lydia Martin placed eighth.

• The Central Decatur boys golf team finished a close third place at the boys POI Conference meet at Lakeshore Golf and Country Club in Afton on Monday.

Nodaway Valley won the team competition with a score of 314, while East Union/Murray finished second at 355 and Central Decatur was third at 356.

Defending individual champion Noah Simon finished third overall with a score of 79 for the Cardinals. Michael Cooper finished 11th for Central Decatur.
