Edith (Carson) Thornton, at the age of 95, passed from this life on Dec. 23, 2008, at Winterset North Care Center. Edith was born on Jan. 21, 1913, to Frank and Elizabeth (Portersfield) Carson in Woodburn.
A celebration of Edith’s life will be held at 11 am.. on Monday, July 6, 2009, at First Christian Church in Osceola with Rev. Robert Miner officiating. Interment of cremains will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola.
