Caitlin Clark signs with SWCC

Caitlin Clark signed her letter of intent to play collegiate golf at Southwestern Community College last week.

Clark received a glowing review from SWCC golf head coach, saying she will work hard at being a student-athlete in all aspects.

An all-conference golfer in the South Central Conference for the Lady Indians, Clark was also an all-conference honorable mention for her efforts on the volleyball court this fall.

"Caitlin is very athletic," said North. "It will be fun to watch her game grow through her time here with more dedication taking place and not having to worry about other sports. Often times as a coach, you wonder the impact you are having on young men and women and how they really feel about you personally. When the younger sibling of a former player wanted to play for you, that means a lot."

SWCC golfing runs in the Clark family, with Courtney signing on to play for the Spartans in 2015 to play under North. North himself has a direct relation past the Clark sisters, playing for their grandparents when he was a product in the Southwestern golf program.

Caitlin will graduate in May and will begin her SWCC career in the Fall of 2020.
