Clarke County Farm Bureau will host a screening to detect your risk for stroke in less than ten minutes. Thursday, October 17 from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Stroke Detection Plus will be in the Clarke County Farm Bureau office at 2215 N Main Street, Osceola to offer four life saving screenings: Stroke Screening - this screening visualizes the buildup of fatty blockage in the carotid arteries; Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm – this screening visualizes the existence of an aneurysm in the abdominal aorta that can rupture and be fatal; Peripheral Arterial Disease – it checks for blockage in the legs, abnormal results indicate high risk of coronary artery disease; and Osteoporosis – a test that screens for abnormal bone density in men and women. These four screenings cost the community $135, but Farm Bureau Members only pay $100. That goes a long ways in covering your annual dues as well as your health. Appointments are necessary!! Call 1-877-732-8258 for an appointment. If you want to take advantage of the $35 savings you may become a Farm Bureau on the spot. Check yourself out.
