Roscoe Edgar Imhoff, son of George and Edith (Machlan) Imhoff was born Oct. 7, 1924, in Leon and passed from this life Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, at his home in Osceola, at 94 years of age. Services were held 11 a.m. Sept. 4 at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., in Osceola, Larry Meissner, son-in-law, officiated. Visitation was open noon to 8 with family present 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 3, at Kale Funeral Home. Interment was held in Maple Hill Cemetery. Roscoe was united in marriage to Milda Ruth (Boswell) Imhoff on June 19, 1949, at her parents’ home near Leon. Four children, Rolene, Marlene, Marcia and Royce blessed this union.

Roscoe worked at the Snowdons Company in Osceola, while he operated the Redwood Dream Hotel for 5 years, before working as a Mechanic for Jimmy Dean. He continued with Jimmy Dean for 13 years retiring in 1989

Roscoe was a member of the Osceola Church of Christ. Most important to him was his relationship with God.

He enjoyed working on cars over the years and also working with the Sojourners mission group through his church. It was this work that introduced Roscoe and Milda to the Shults-Lewis Children’s Home in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Roscoe leaves to cherish his memory, daughters: Rolene (Randell) Bryan of Hamlin, Texas, Marlene (Larry) Meissner of Banning, California, and Marcia (Brett) Grimm of Osceola; son Royce Imhoff of Ft. Dodge; sister Gladys Buckingham of Ankeny. He was the proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren: Nathan Bryan of Texas, Victoria “Tori” Langille of Iowa, Brittany Vidales of Iowa, Janelle Morrow of California, Rhea Mullin of Iowa, Cassidy Neese of Iowa, Dillon Imhoff of Iowa, Megan Rinner of Iowa, Jerod Bryan of Texas; and 13 great-grandchildren: Ciera Bryan, Cassidy Bryan, Brittany Bryan, Brooke Bryan all of Texas; Selena Uhlman, Maliah Johnson, Deegan Neese, Julia Langille, Zayah Neese, Layla Mullin and Dreyson Vidales all of Iowa, Jocelynn Morrow of California, Summitt Rinner (expected) as well as other relatives and many friends.

Those relatives who preceded Roscoe in death were his parents; wife, Milda Ruth Imhoff; brothers: Charles Imhoff and Harry Elmer (Mildred) Imhoff and brother in law John Buckingham.
