No citations were issued after an accident 3:20 p.m. June 10 on Interstate 35.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Jamey Hon Aird, 50, of Dubuque, driving a 2016 Ford truck was merging onto Interstate 35 from the south bound rest area when a deer appeared in the roadway and Aird was unable to safely avoid the animal.
Estimated damage was $5,000 to Aird’s vehicle.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Javier Francisco Ramos, 47, of Davenport, driving a 2000 Ford truck was northbound on Interstate 35 when a deer entered the roadway and Ramos was unable to avoid the animal.
Estimated damage was $2,000 to Ramos’ vehicle.
