Swede loved spending time outdoors in nature. Fishing was always a big passion of his. He also enjoyed feeding the eagles and deer in the area. At one time, he was feeding 21 eagles. Swede volunteered weekly at Pin Oak Marsh and enjoyed that time immensely.

Above all else, Swede loved spending time with his family. His wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dog Killer brought him great joy.
