No citations were issued after an accident 4 p.m. Jan. 22 on Miami Street.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Rodney James Vance, 62, of Osceola, driving a truck hauling a 2018 Montana fifth-wheel camper was eastbound on Miami Street when he slid down an icy hill coming to a stop at the bottom when Joseph Andrew Offenburger, 59, of Woodburn, driving a 1996 Jeep slid down the hill from the east and struck the drivers side of Vance’s Montana camper.
Estimated damage was $50,000 to Vance’s Montana camper and $5,000 to Offenburger’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 10:10 a.m. Monday at the intersection of North Kossuth Street and East Clay Street.
According to an Osceola Police report, Tarra Nichole Beam, 34, of Osceola, driving a 2001 Dodge was stopped at the stop sign on North Kossuth Street, when she began to pull away from the stop sign her tires spun on the ice and snow on the roadway, by the time she gained traction and pulled into the intersection she collided with Heather Dawn Marker, 45, of Osceola, driving a 2012 Ford west on East Clay Street.
Estimated damage was $2,500 to Marker’s vehicle and $3,000 to Beam’s vehicle.
