Dakota James Dyer, 20, of Osceola, was cited for driving while suspended and failure to yield half the roadway after an accident 7:35 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 1900 block of 315th Avenue.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Dyer, driving a 2001 Honda, crested a hill about three-quarters of a mile south of Highway 34 at the same time as an oncoming vehicle. Dyer lost control of the vehicle, went in to the east ditch and the vehicle rolled three times, coming to rest on its top.
All five occupants of the vehicle were transported to Clarke County Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Estimated damage was $5,000 to Dyer’s vehicle.
