No citations were issued after an accident 3:15 p.m. July 3 on Highway 34.
According to an Osceola Police report, Danielle R. Kass, 26, of New York, driving a 2017 Volkswagen was stopped at the Interstate 35 exit ramp, and when she entered onto Highway 34 she struck David Clyde Ogden, 66, of Pacific Junction, driving a 2017 Chevy eastbound on Highway 34. Kass claimed responsibility telling officers she didn’t see Ogden driving behind a large motor home.
Estimated damage was $2,500 to Ogden’s vehicle and $8,000 to Kass’ vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 9:56 p.m. July 3 on Highway 69.
According to an Osceola Police report, Thomas David Schreurs, 58, of Des Moines, driving a 2016 Toyota northbound on Highway 69 just before Highway 152 was struck on the front passenger side of the vehicle by a deer.
Estimated damage was $2,000.

No citations were issued after an accident 11:15 July 4 at Lake Shore Drive.
According to an Osceola Police report, a 1969 Ford Mustang popped out of gear as the owner was walking away and rolled backward from its parking spot, jumped the curb, ran through the ditch and into the Grade Lake. The owner did attempt to stop the vehicle from rolling and was knocked to the ground.
The owner, Robert Alan Havlik, 56, of Osceola, was transported to Clarke County Hospital.
Estimated damage was $15,000.
