LAMONI — Graceland University Softball’s Elizabeth Bemis of Osceola, IA, has been named First-Team All Conference at-large and Newcomer of the Year by the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
Bemis, who has been consistent on the mound for the Yellowjackets, pitched 114.1 innings in conference play. She struck out 149 batters, holding an ERA of 2.14. She also limited her opponents to a batting average of 0.217.
