Dry needling services now available through Clarke County Hospital Physical Therapy

Clarke County Hospital will be offering dry needling services through the Hospital’s Physical Therapy Department starting Monday, July 2, 2018.

Research has demonstrated the positive effects of dry needling include increased blood flow, decreased muscle tightness and an increase in endorphins which are body’s natural pain reliever. Dry needling can successfully treat common conditions such as neck and back pain, shoulder pain/impingement, tennis/golfer’s elbow, knee pain, muscle strains, tendonitis/bursitis/overuse injuries, carpal tunnel and headaches (cervicogenic, tension and migraines).

For questions or to schedule an appointment, please call Clarke County Hospital’s Physical Therapy Department at 641-342-5340. A doctor’s referral is required to schedule an appointment.
