The event begins at 4 p.m. with a social hour, allowing guests plenty of time to meet and greet our excellent slate of candidates for office. At 5 p.m., a potluck dinner will be served. Price of the dinner is a free-will donation.

Invited guest speakers include U.S. Congressman Dave Loebsack; candidates for governor Nate Boulton, Cathy Glasson, Fred Hubbell, Andy McGuire, John Norris and Ross Wilburn; candidates for Iowa Secretary of State Deidre DeJear and Jim Mowrer; candidate for State Auditor Rob Sand; candidate for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Tim Gannon; Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller and Iowa State Treasurer Mike Fitzgerald.

We will also hear from a great group of candidates for the Iowa Legislature, including Iowa House District 28 candidates Ann Fields and Zachary Pendroy; Iowa House District 27 candidate Richard Foster; Iowa House District 79 candidate Samantha Keith and Iowa House District 80 candidate Susan McDanel.

There will also be an auction of unique gift baskets prepared by Democrats from each of the seven counties, and a silent auction of many wonderful items.
