Supervisor candidate spotlight

Scott Busick is running as a Democrat for the District 1 Clarke County Supervisor postion. Busick lives in Murray. He had thought about running for supervisor before and now the time just seemed right for him. He also wants to make a contribution to the county he lives in. When asked why people should vote for him Busick said, "I think it's something I'd be good at."

(Click photo and drag left for Patterson photo) Tom Patterson is running as a Republican for the District 1 Clarke County Supervisor postion. Patterson lives in Osceola. After 38 serving the community through his automotive repair business, Patterson and his partner have decided to retire and sell the business. It was a difficult decision, but Patterson believes being elected as Supervisor for District 1 would give him an opportunity to conitue to serve the community. When asked why people should vote for him Patterson said, "I promise to listen to concerns and act on those concerns fairly and intelligently. I feel the work ethics I have acquired and my honest approach to people would be an asset in the position of County Supervisor."

(Click photo and drag left for Robins photo) Dean Robins is running as a Republican for the District 1 Clarke County Supervisor position. Robins lives in Murray. He has served on the Murray City Council and enjoys local governments and believes he is qualified to represent District 1 on the County Board of Supervisors. Robins has no personal agenda and sees the county as being well run and wants to contribute to helping continue to do so. When asked why people should vote for him Robins said, "Because of my interest in serving the county and being a voice for the communities of Murray, Woodburn and rural Clarke County."
