Murray recreation facility

The Murray Recreation Board & the City of Murray are excited to announce that they are raising funds for a new recreational facility that will provide the youth and citizens of Murray a safe place to gather that promotes wellness, teamwork and development through team sports and community activities. The facility will consist of 3 regulation size ball fields, a tee ball field, 3 soccer fields, playground, basketball court and a walking trail for the entire community to use. The facility will be located behind the Casey’s store in Murray which allows a safe pathway from the Murray Community School. The Dekko Foundation has awarded a grant in the amount of $400,000 towards phase 1 of the Murray Recreation Facility. Beyond that, the Dekko Foundation has also made a pledge that they will match the next $100,000 raised towards phase 1 of the recreational facility. The total estimated cost of phase 1 of the project is $799,900. We look forward to the completion of this project and the benefits it will bring to the community. If you would like to make a pledge or donation to the project they can be sent to:
