No citations were issued after an accident at the Four Corners Casey’s 2:50 p.m. Jan. 24.
According to an Osceola Police report, Stephen Lyle Lewis, 70, of Osceola, driving a 2009 Chevy truck entered the parking lot from the east and traveled around the north side of the pumps. Officers said it appeared on the video like Lewis was going to stop at pump seven and then sped up and ran into the side of Roxanne Ahtziri Hurtado, 17, of Osceola, driving a 2007 Chevy.
Estimated damage was $1,500 to Hurtado’s vehicle and $700 to Lewis’ vehicle.

Jocelyn Janeth Montes, 15, of Osceola was cited for failure to yield upon making a left turn and violation of conditions of instruction permit after and Anthony Alan Short, 28, of Osceola was cited for no valid drivers license and operating with an expired registration after an accident 7:58 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Highway 34 and Highway 69.
According to an Osceola Police report, Montes, driving a 2007 Toyota, attempted to make a left turn to onto Highway 34 when Short, driving a 1997 Chevy truck was going straight through the intersection heading south on Highway 69. This caused a head on collision.
Estimated damage was $5,000 to Montes’ vehicle and $2,000 to Short’s vehicle.
