OSCEOLA — It was announced during the Clarke County State Bank’s January 18th Board of Directors meeting that Dave Selene, CCSB President, would be taking the helm as Chair of the CCSB Board of Directors effective at the next directors’ meeting in February.
The Clarke County State Bank Board of Directors provides the bank with oversight and direction for business activities that concern the bank and its customers. It also provides guidance for the bank’s future direction and its adherence to federal regulations and legal matters. Made up of six members, the Board brings in the perspective of bank executives like Selene as well as members from agricultural, academic, manufacturing, and financial advisory sectors.
Selene has been a member of the Board of Directors and has served as Clarke County State Bank’s President since 2010. With over 35 years in the banking industry, heading financial institutions throughout Iowa and the Midwest, his experience will help the board move forward to meet their customers’ needs as well as keep pace with the evolution of the banking industry.
