According to an Osceola Police report, Guy David Billington, 14, of Osceola, driving a 2011 Ford, struck a stop sign as he was attempting to turn off of East Ayers Street onto North Adams Street.
Estimated damage was $200 to the stop sign and $5,000 to Billington’s vehicle.

According to an Osceola Police report, Shanna Marie Davenport, 44, of Osceola, driving a 2006 Chrysler, was turning around the gas pumps heading east in the Casey’s parking lot when her vehicle was struck on the front passenger side by Eric Kane Auxier, 44, of Des Moines, driving a 2014 Nissan, also heading east through the parking lot.
Estimated damage was $800 to Davenport’s vehicle and $800 to Auxier’s vehicle.

According to an Osceola Police report, Gerald Ray Hayes, 66, of Indianola, driving a 2005 Chevy, southbound through the casino parking lot was struck on the front driver’s side by Merlin Kastens, 76, of Harlan, driving a 2014 Honda, westbound through the parking lot.
Estimated damage was $1,000 to Hayes’ vehicle and $2,500 to Kastens’ vehicle.

According to an Osceola Police report, Linda Kay Snyder, 73, of Thayer, driving a 2013 Ford, attempted to park in a space in the Hy-Vee parking lot when she struck a light pole. The vehicle was then deflected into a handicap sign. The sign struck a properly parked 2016 Hyundai.
Estimated damage was $50 to the sign, $6,500 to the Hyundai and $3,500 to Snyder’s vehicle.
