Donald Wayne Goodrich, 79, of Osceola died Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola.
Per his wishes, Donnie was cremated and the family honored his life at a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., in Osceola. Donald Wayne Goodrich, son of Glen Harley Goodrich and Wanda Mae Nauman Goodrich, was born June 25, 1938, in Osceola. Donnie received his education in Osceola and graduated from Osceola High School.
He was united in marriage to Janice Propst, and they were the parents of Michael and Steve. Donnie was later married to Kathy Roberts.
On Sept. 13, 2005, he married Lifen and have continued to live in Osceola. Donnie was employed by Snowdon’s early in his life but has worked heavy construction the majority of his career. He has been self employed and also worked for Elder and Keith Kent Construction companies. Donnie owned and operated the Alley Pub in Osceola for nearly 10 years.
Donnie is survived by his wife Lifen Goodrich of Osceola; son Steve Goodrich of Osceola; grandchildren, Alysha Goodrich of Indianola, Dustin (Erica) McKimpson of Overland Park, Kansas, Travis Goodrich of Osceola, Kyle Grimm of Osceola and Casey Graham of Kansas; brother Kenneth (Judy) Goodrich of Osceola; sister Patricia (Doyle) Curnes of Osceola; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents; son Michael Goodrich; daughter-in-law Sheila Goodrich; niece Brenda Curnes and cousin Lyle Goodrich.
