We are still feeding 1,550 children in and around Danli, Honduras. Several years ago, I figured it cost $10.42 per child to feed one child per school year. This has risen somewhat, but we do have the government helping with staples, such as large bags of corn, rice and beans. Some of the mothers in the area prepare the food, some at their homes and some at facilities at the school. Gloria Vasquez still manages the program and without her it would not function.

Please, once again consider helping. All money collected goes to the feeding program.

editor's note: Ken Voltmer began traveling to Honduras in Oct. 1987, to bring clothing, food and skills to the people there. The food program currently serves 15 schools, grades K-4.
