Indians shutout at Centerville

CENTERVILLE — After being shut out for the second time this season, the Clarke football team keeps looking for answers to see progress.

Clarke fell 41-0 at Centerville Friday, as the Indians managed just 65 yards of offense.

“Tough, hard-fought game. Any time a player from the other team gets ejected for throwing a punch, you know you’re in a dogfight,” Clarke football coach Duane Matthess said. “At times, I thought our team responded well. We just have to get better.”

Riley Domina’s 9.5 tackles led the Clarke defense. Jon Bair’s 7.5 tackles, including a solo tackle for loss, helped limit the damage.

Bair was Clarke’s leading rusher with 46 yards on 33 carries.
