No citations were issued after an accident 10:34 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at the intersection of West Washington Street and North Fillmore Street.
Marcy Kay Essy, 54, of New Virginia was driving a 1999 Cadillac west on Washington Street and had the right the right-of-way. Leonard Alan Martin, 62, of Osceola, driving a 2013 Chevrolet north on Fillmore Street did not see Essy’s vehicle in time to prevent a collision.
Damage estimates are $2,000 to Essy’s vehicle and $2,500 to Martin’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 12:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Lonnie Leroy Seeling, 33, of Osceola was backing up in a 1981 Chevrolet when a 1999 Chrysler driven by Allen Russell Dotts, 83, of New Virginia drove west down the alley, and the two vehicles collided.
Damage estimates are $100 to Seeling’s vehicle and $1,200 to Dotts’ vehicle.
