Misti Dawn Witkowski, 37, of Leon was charged with driving while suspended 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, at the Law Enforcement Center.

Austin Lee Haines, 32, 500 N. Main St., was charged with a probation violation 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, at the Law Enforcement Center.

Billy Joe Willett, 57, of Murray was charged with operating while intoxicated - second offense 12:51 p.m. Thursday, June 29, on Seventh Street in Murray.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, the Law Enforcement Center received a call from the residents at 605 Grant St. in Murray for Willett driving his tractor through their yard while intoxicated. Deputies arrived and spoke briefly to witnesses and then went to Willett’s home. He told deputies that he drove his tractor on Sixth Street and took a shortcut through his neighbor’s yard. Willett had runover and destroyed a sump pump hose that was strung through a neighbor’s yard. Officers could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. Willett failed field sobriety testing and consented to a preliminary breath test. Results were over .08, so he was placed under arrest for O.W.I. - second offense, and transported to the Clarke County Jail where he blew a .177 on the Datamaster.

Willett posted $2,000 bail.

Tyson Adam Held, 36, 107 E. Clay St. was charged with operating while intoxicated - second offense 10:19 a.m. Thursday, July 6, at the intersection of Warren Avenue and Tieken Road in Osceola.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff report, the Law Enforcement Center received a call about a white 2016 Chevrolet driving north on Highway 69 driving all over the road. Officers observed the driver swerving and stopped the car at Warren Ave and Tieken Road. The driver had bloodshot and watery eyes, and when asked, admitted to drinking. Held showed several signs of impairment during field sobriety testing. The defendant refused a preliminary breath test, but consented to Datamaster, with results over .08.

Held posted $2,000 bail.

Corey Michael Hoover, 32, 923 Blakes Lane, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon Monday, July 10, at his residence.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff report, by his own admission, Hoover came in possession of a firearm. Then, by means of a negligent discharge, shot himself in the leg.
