DES MOINES — Recognition for outstanding academic achievement has been given to the following Grand View University students for the 2017 spring semester. The students are named to the President’s List for earning a grade point average of 4.0 while carrying at least 12 hours of classes: Sarah Roemer, Osceola.

STORM LAKE — Chanell Gay from Osceola recently graduated with a Master of Education degree from Buena Vista University.

Calie Baker from Thayer recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from Buena Vista University (BVU).

News from Bob Jones University

GREENVILLE, SC (06/22/2017)-- Laura Barr of Weldon joined other new students as Bob Jones University hosted its first session of summer orientation June 16-17

Incoming students and their parents attended informational sessions about the BJU experience, had the opportunity to ask questions regarding academics, financial aid and student life and generally became familiar with the campus.

Additionally, students had the opportunity to connect with other new students, current students and faculty.

Barr will be majoring in Apparel, Textiles and Design when classes begin Wednesday, Aug. 30.
