No citations were issued after an accident 1 p.m. Friday, June 30, at Mateer Drive Parking.
According to an Osceola Police report, the driver of a 2016 Honda noticed minor damage to the bumper of her legally parked vehicle. Paint transfer was the same color as an another vehicle which is often parked nearby. Officers could not determine whether the damage was from the vehicle, and the owner denied hitting the parked car.
Damage estimate is $500.

Ramon Enrique Garza, 14, of Osceola was issued a citation for failure to have a license and a warning for failure to yield after an accident 3:18 p.m. Sunday, July 2, at the intersection of South Main Street and Park Lane.
Garza, driving a 1999 Honda west on Park Lane, stopped at the stop sign at Main Street and attempted to cross the street and head onto Blake Lane. He did not see the 1997 Ford driven by Ronald Leslie Goodrich, 58, of Indianola headed south on Main Street and struck his vehicle in the driver’s door, where it went into a ditch on the west side of the road.
Garza was transported by ground ambulance to Clarke County Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and interviewed by police.
Damage estimate is $5,000 to Garza’s vehicle and $1,000 to Goodrich’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 8:16 p.m. Sunday, July 2, at the intersection of North Fillmore Street and West Webster Street.
Jesus G. Cardenas Gomez, 31, of Osceola was driving a 2005 Buick and failed to keep in the proper lane. His vehicle collided with a 2014 Ford, driven by Jacob Daniel Voss, 38, of West Des Moines.
Damage estimates are $500 to Cardenas Gomez’ vehicle and $1,000 to Voss’ vehicle.

Emily Partida Solorzano, 16, of Osceola was backing out of a parking space in a 2008 Chevrolet when she ran into the bumper of a parked vehicle.
Damage estimate is $0 to Solorzano’s vehicle and $800 to the parked vehicle.
