Stop at some of the coolest shops in a 60 mile radius, or stick around Osceola and enjoy the citywide garage sales.
What is junkin’?
A quick look at the itinerary of either event won’t turn up any garbage dumps. Junkin’ junkies search the nook ‘n cranny shops for hidden treasures. They hit up thrift stores, flea markets and bazaars looking for unique, well-loved items needing new homes. And junkin’ is as much a group activity as it is a chance to do some shopping.

Junkin’ on Jefferson runs Friday, June 2, through Sunday, June 4, in Osceola, Leon, Lamoni and Davis City, Iowa, and Eagleville and Bethany, Missouri.
Back-roads & By-ways Junkin’ Tour runs Saturday, June 3, and Sunday, June 4, in Indianola, Milo, Prole, St. Mary’s, St. Charles, New Virginia and Osceola.
