According to an Osceola Police report, 7 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28th, 2017, the police received a call from Lakeside Casino informing them there had been a possible theft on the casino floor involving two female individuals. Security personnel then reviewed surveillance footage which they said indicated a female individual picked up the purse, entered the bathroom, left the restroom empty handed and immediately exited the casino gaming floor. Lakeside Casino was later able to provide the Osceola Police Department with security camera footage from the theft that occurred, which confirmed what officers had been told by casino employees, and a warrant was requested.
