Local author speaks

Speaking: D. Nichole King, a young adult and adult novelist, speaks to the ladies of the Ladies Literary Circle, as well as members from several other Creston book clubs and organizations, during the circle’s annual May luncheon held Friday at Crestmoor Golf Club in Creston. King, who lives in Osceola, has written six novels organized into three separate series. The books range from young-adult paranormal to adult, but all hold romance and hope as recurring themes.
