47 years of service: Local ER nurse Connie Bright spent close to half a century at Clarke County Hospital. Well over 100 people came out to help celebrate her retirement, with the line to get in the door stretching halfway down the hall. Guests included her son, Ryan Bright, of Des Moines, and his boys, Hayden and Parker.
