Fun in the sun: Warm weather brought out restored beauties, like this 1934 Dodge truck, a familiar site at Goodguys and Concours d’Elegance car shows in Des Moines. Pictured is owner Dan Hooper, who bought the Dodge in Oxnard, California, in 1966 and spent four years restoring the classic to its natural beauty. The paint job was the only part of the process he didn’t perform on his own.
