Richard Lyndonn Ford Abalos, 21, 515 N. Main St. was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia 12:55 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, in the 100 block of East Logan Street.

According to an Osceola Police report, an officer observed individuals in a parked car behind in an alley behind the Abalos residence. Officers approached the vehicle and observed a marijuana grinder between the front seats containing a green, leafy substance. Abalos said the grinder was his and after being removed from the car for a search, informed officers there was marijuana in his pocket. A search of the vehicle

yielded a glass marijuana pipe, which Abalos said was also his. He was transported to the Clarke County Jail where a field test of the green leafy substance was conducted. A positive test resulted for marijuana.

Abalos posted bail in the amount of $1,000.

Jason Robert Gray, 29, 331 S. Fillmore St. Apt. 1, Jess E. Stephenson, 34, of Weldon, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and Shondell Kay Greenhalgh, 33, of Council Bluffs was charged with two counts possession of drug paraphernalia 1:28 a.m. Thursday, March 16, at Gray’s residence.

According to Osceola Police reports, Gray had in his possession a syringe used to inject methamphetamine, Stephenson had in his possession a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine and Greenhalgh had in her possession a glass pipe to used smoke marijuana and a grinder used to grind marijuana.

Bond is not known.
