Earth Day 5K Run/Walk and Kids Nature Walk is April 22

Clarke County Hospital and the Clarke County Conservation Board are partnering to host the 2nd Annual Earth Day 5K Run/Walk and Kids Nature Walk on Saturday, April 22 at 10 AM. This year’s event will be held at East Lake Park in Osceola, IA.

The race will start and finish at the Prairie Flower Shelter in East Lake Park. Event check-in opens at 9 AM with the race and kids walk beginning at 10 AM. The registration fee for the 5K Run/Walk is $30 and the Kids Nature Walk is $15. Register on or before Monday, April 17 at noon to receive an event t-shirt and goodie bag.

Children registered for the Kids Nature Walk will receive an event shirt, gardening gloves and get the unique opportunity to meet some of Beth Brown’s wild birds! Only 40 spots are available for the Kids Nature Walk. Adults accompanying children on the nature walk are free.

Online registration will close on Monday, April 17 at noon. Event day registration will be available starting at 9 AM on Saturday, April 22. Event day registration will not include a t-shirt. Giveaways will be available while supplies last.
