Jose Luis Rosales Nunez, also known as Johnathon Pojamas, 33, 516 N Fillmore St., was charged with a second-offense OWI 2:11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, at 116 E. Webster St.

According to an Osceola Police report, Rosales Nunez was observed driving in the parking lot of the Broken Spoke and refused to perform field sobriety tests, refused a preliminary breath test and refused to give a sample for a chemical test.

Rosales Nunez was released on $2,000 bond.

Tristin Marcus Vanderflught, 18, 123 W. Grant St., was charged with public intoxication 2:20 a.m. January 5 in the 800 block of South Jackson Street.

According to an Osceola Police report, Vanderflught was found by friends behind Grade Lake 11 p.m. Jan. 4. Officers were called to help him home. Vanderflught had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and was incoherent. He was unable to perform a breath test. Vanderflught was taken to the hospital for evaluation and arrested upon release.

Vanderflught waived his right to a trial and was fined $100 plus costs, amounting to a total of $195.

Melissa Ann Woollums, 29, of Arispe was charged with driving while suspended 1:35 a.m. January 6 at Ariel Circle and Southwest Boulevard.

She was released on $300 bond.

Darcy Sue Gonseth, 43, 219 Warren Court, was charged with a compulsory education violation 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at her home.

According to court Clarke County court documents, Gonseth failed to appear for a previously ordered court date Friday, Jan. 6.

Bond in the amount of $300 was posted.

Jennifer Marie Iwed, 29, 215 S. Fillmore St., was charged with first-degree theft 6:40 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at her home.

According to an Osceola Police report, Iwed admitted to obtaining another person’s bank account number, and, between Tuesday, July 19, and Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, transferred $11,624 from the account to various store credit cards without the bank account holder’s permission.

Bond is set at $10,000.

An Osceola city employee reported fuel from a dump truck and a section of hose for an air compressor were stolen 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, from the city shop at 115 N. Fillmore St. Loss estimate is $215.

An employee of Westside Tavern, 124 S. Fillmore St., reported the receipt of a bad check.

Loss estimate is $17.75.
