Think again about who you vote for

From Barbara Paulding

Free and fair elections and the peaceful transfer of power is one of the cornerstones of our entire Democratic system. In the third presidential debate, Donald Trump refused to say that he would accept the results of the presidential election. This is a dangerous attempt to undermine people’s confidence in our electoral process.

Throughout this election, Trump has shown utter contempt for our Democratic ideals and an utter lack of basic knowledge about how our government works. His heroes are dictators: Putin, Kim Jung Ung and Assad. When our intelligence agencies all say Putin is responsible for recent cyber-attacks, he refuses to believe them and continues to defend Putin.

Will Republicans finally see this man for the dangerous demagogue he is and repudiate him? I don’t think so. They are already trying to deny he said what he said. I guess they think that if he is elected president, they can pass their bills, have him sign them and control him.

No, Republicans, you will not be able to control him. You have not been able to control him as a candidate, and you most certainly will not be able to control him if be becomes the most powerful man in the world.

Voters have two choices in this election. They can elect the first woman as the president of the United States or they can elect the first dictator of the United States.
