Iowa Farm Bureau designates Fry as friend of agriculture

Joel Fry of Osceola has been designated a “Friend of Agriculture” by the Iowa Farm Bureau Political Action Committee (PAC).

Fry is seeking re-election in the House District 27 seat that includes Clarke, Decatur, Wayne and portions of Lucas counties.

“It is an honor to serve House District 27,” Fry said. “I am pleased to accept Farm Bureau’s Friend of Agriculture designation. Iowa’s foundation is embedded deep in our agriculture roots and I am honored to continue my work at the state house on behalf of all my constituents and my rural district. I look forward to continuing my work with Iowa’s important agriculture community and issues that most affect them.”

“Candidates earn the Friend of Agriculture designation by supporting issues that directly impact Iowa’s agricultural economy,” said Audubon County farmer and IFBF PAC Chair Randy Dreher. “With one in every five Iowans employed in agriculture and ag-related industries, it is essential to have strong advocates for agriculture representing Iowa.”
