An accident was reported 1:10 p.m. Sept. 7 on Interstate 35 near mile-marker 30.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Rosa Marie McClellan, 47, of Decatur, driving a 2005 Chrysler south on Interstate 35, had her vehicle hydroplane. The vehicle started to go sideways and came to a stop in the west ditch.
Damage estimate is $2,000.

An accident was reported 6:15 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 1600 block of 140th Avenue.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Montelle Sheridan Chew, 48, of Murray, driving a 1997 Dodge pickup east on 140th Avenue, lost traction in the mud on the shoulder of the road. The vehicle came to a stop in the ditch.
Damage estimate is $8,000.

An accident was reported 5:14 p.m. Sept. 1 on Highway 69.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Randy Joe Metzger, 33, of Indianola, was driving a 2012 Dodge pickup north on Highway 69. Moises Chavez Padilla, 75, of Murray, driving a 2009 Pontiac entered the corner of the road southbound and went wide into the corner.
Padilla’s front tire went onto the shoulder of the road, and when he tried to correct the vehicle, it crossed the center line and struck Metzger’s vehicle. The impact caused Metzger’s vehicle to spin approximately 340 degrees and come to a stop in the north ditch.
Damage estimates are $5,000 to Metzger’s vehicle and $4,000 to Padilla’s vehicle.
