An accident was reported 1:35 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 2300 block of Clover Street.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Caleb Arron Shelton, 24, of Garden Grove, driving a 2002 Dodge pickup west on Clover Street, slowed down to turn into a farm driveway. Shelton said he didn’t have a turn signal on.
Amanda Irene Rodgers, 36, of Des Moines, driving a 2003 Chevrolet, said Shelton’s vehicle was on the shoulder of the road and she attempted to go around it. Shelton’s vehicle continued to turn and struck Rodgers’ vehicle.
Rodgers’ vehicle came to a stop in the north ditch.
Damage estimates are $3,000 to Shelton’s vehicle and $4,000 to Rodgers’ vehicle.

An accident was reported 8 p.m. Aug. 3 in the 1100 block of 330th Avenue, south of Scott Street.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Lauren Nicole Golay, 16, of Indianola, driving a 2000 Toyota north on 330th Avenue, lost control of the vehicle before the road’s curve.
Golay’s vehicle came to a stop in the west ditch. Golay and a passenger both received minor injuries.
Damage estimate is $3,000 to the vehicle owned by Lindsey Raquel Golay.

An accident was reported 6:03 p.m. Aug. 11 at 1520 U.S. Highway 69 in Clarke County.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Isabella Mae Buddenhagen, 16, of New Virginia, driving a 1998 Oldsmobile south on Highway 69, lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle’s tires went onto the shoulder of the road, and when Buddenhagen overcorrected, she crossed the center line. The vehicle entered the east ditch, rolled one time and came to a stop in a bean field along the road facing north.
Damage estimate to the vehicle owned by Donald Buddenhagen is $6,000.
